Christmas Festivities in Cornwall
Christmas is just around the corner and Cornwall is starting it’s festive celebrations with Christmas decorations making their way into shops, restaurants and tourist hotspots. Christmas events are happing up and down the region with Santa surely making an appearance.
We’ve highlighted some of the best ways to get into the festive spirit across the region;
The Red and White Quiz Trail at Paradise Park
Paradise Park Wildlife Sanctuary is running several different events throughout the festive season that there’s always something to do.
From the 16th December to 6th January the Red & White Quiz Trail is running. Suitable for all ages the quiz follows the trail throughout Paradise Park. Complete the quiz and claim your Christmas chocolate treat!
On select weekends, Santa will be visiting his Grotto at Paradise Park with his fairy and elf assistants making Christmas very special for everyone. Tickets cost just £5.45 per child and includes a gift.

Mousehole Christmas Lights
Saturday 15th December sees the official ‘switch-on’ of the Mousehole Christmas Lights. With a Carolaire Choir comprising of the Mousehouse Male Voice Choir, Members of the Mousehole Methodist Church and friends from the community together with the Pendeen Silver Band.
The lights will be on each evening between 5pm and 11pm from 16th December until 4th of January and makes for a great festive evening. The lights include floating displays in the harbour and around the streets that are filled with the aroma of mulled wine and festive food.
Meet Santa at the Eden Project
Every year Santa and his elves makes a stop at the Eden Project where children can meet Santa. The event has been dubbed “a magical family experience”. Inside the cosy tent you will see “behind the scenes” including elves bunk beds, pigeonholes full of children’s letters to Santa and all the stockings laid out ready for the big day.
